01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? I watched the first episode years ago, back in 2002, I think. It was okay, but it didn't pique my interest at the time. A few months ago,
escalove linked to this kickass music video, and I wanted to learn more about it. I watched the entire show in three days on YouTube, and I'm planning on buying DVDs as soon as possible.02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? It takes me a long time to move on from fandoms. I'm a lurker instead of an active participater, so I usually look into fandoms for art and fic anyway.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? My favorite episodes are the final three. They're so well done.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussion)? Not really, since i'm a few years late to the party. I'd like to try and make some icons, though.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? The show? Yes, definitely. Enter the fandom afterwards. They're tame and very quiet, but there's a strong emphasis on Ahiru/Fakir and there's not a lot of variety sometimes because it's a small fandom.
Heroes
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? Sev told me about it and made me watch the first season. I loved the first season like mad and stuck around for awhile.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? Ehh. I think I moved on. I started losing interest in the middle of season two, and season three didn't have enough to keep my focus. And the whole "Is Sylar a good witch or a bad witch" dilemma really gets on my nerves.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? Heh. I liked the episode where Hiro sets up a secret hideout for Ando to be a super hero. XD That, and any episode from the first season is awesome.
Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussion)? Discussion with other fans, yes. Otherwise, no. The Heroes fandom scares me just as much as the Avatar fandom.
05: Do you think that more people should get in this fandom? I say try the first season out and see how you like it. If you enjoy it, you can try season two, but it's considerably more boring than the first season. It's worth a try, though.
Sailor Moon
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? I was nine years old, and it was the first day of my ballet, tap, and jazz recital. I was nervous, with the recital a few hours away, and ... I think my dad turned on Cartoon Network for me when he saw it was a cartoon with girls in it. It was the episode where "Serena" meets "Amy" and discovers that she's Sailor Mercury. I've been hooked since.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? I'm still here and still looking through the fandom. So, yes. :P
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? I adore the manga books I do have. I wish they weren't out of print anymore. ;_; I enjoy a lot of episodes from season one and season R, especially the episode where Chibiusa turns into Wicked Lady, and the Nephrite/Naru episodes because shut up, I loved them and the dub is awesome for not changing their dialogue. (Except when he throws in a cheap "I love you". "I'm glad I met you" was more heart felt. WHAT, I KNOW THESE THINGS.) And then the episode when Usagi discovers she's the Moon Princess MADE ME BAWL. Uh, there's more.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfic, graphics, discussion)? Discussion, I'll have any day. Fanfic, none. Graphics, a few. Most of the graphics are of Ann from season R, uhm ... one of Saphir, one of Saturn, and one of Rei. (BTW: Some icons are NSFW in the Teen Titans section. They're not too bad, but I thought it was worth noting.)
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? Oh god, yes. If you haven't watched it by now, you're living under a rock.
