I'm having that awkward moment when you know you're overemotional and hormonal when a story you're writing at 3AM is leaving a lump in your throat, even though it's a crap story. Oh and work is at 10:30AM and I'm not tired. HOORAY except not really. What is your life, Sam?

Um, on another matter entirely: I'm not sure what's going on with Livejournal, but in case it decides to implode with the way it's been acting lately, I'm letting you guys know that I have a Tumblr and a Dreamwidth account. (I've also got an Insanejournal and Plurk accounts lying around someplace. Same screen name for all of them, btw.) Just in case you guys wanted a friendly reminder! I doubt anything bad's going to happen, but I figure the heads-up wouldn't hurt.

Eww, I hate how ONTD's posts are on the homepage, with those seizure-inducing icons. Thanks, Livejournal! /total sarcasm, do you read it.

Right now, I'm trying to look for a new layout for my Livejournal, because I was tired of how the previous layout resized the images. I don't like the current layout, though. It's too dark for my liking. So please bear with me for the moment while I go through different layouts and trying to decide which one I like best.

I missed yesterday's update for those memes, so I'll just pick up where I left off and pretend this is Day 02. I don't feel like writing updates for both prompts. :P

EDIT: So, apparently, a book's cover is being changed to feature an 'ambiguous'-looking lady to replace the original cover which clearly had an Asian woman, since the main character is Asian. This is clearly terrible, so I'm putting this out there if anyone is interested and has money to buy the book with the original cover.

we lose our way in the dark.

Uhhhh, I accidentally added someone on my flist while I was looking through

fanmix entries. So if any unexpected stranger spotted that my journal friended yours, that's the story. Sorry. *facepalm* If it's not a problem, let me know, but I don't want anyone to get weirded out.

I'm in such pain right now. :\ I have a sore in my mouth--it must've been from one of my sister's friends who passed it around--and my wisdom tooth in the back is trying to break through. So one side of my mouth feels like hell at the moment.

Oh, and one of our dogs Scruffy is at the vet in surgery. He has a tumor on his belly.

So...yeah, the last few weeks are just...shitty. Really, really shitty.

there are days when those grey skies make you blue.

At the moment, I'm the proud owner of 244 icons that I can hold onto until May 22. And as far as I can tell, I didn't have to pay for them because I just added onto the package. Which is a good thing for now, because I'd rather not drop money on extra userpics right now, at least until my paid account expires.

Either way -- WHOO! Time to try out these new puppies.
