I'm slowly crawling out of my writer's block. I think I stopped writing/getting into the mood for any character because a new one's been on my mind for months. I'm finally starting to get a grip on her, so the other muses have been waking up again, if that makes any sense?

ALMOST FORGOT. My brother Barry and his girlfriend Amy got a new puppy today. They stopped by a farm outside of Chicago and picked the puppy up. It's a black lab, just like their dog Riley, except this one is a boy. His name is Zero - like the ghost dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas. He's such a sweetie. <3

Favorite character: Zuko. How can you not love this dork? I just adore how much he's grown as a character. While I don't hold him on a pedastal like the rest of the fandom does, he's definitely the first character I remember when I think of Avatar (next to Aang, of course).
Least favorite character: I don't hate her, but Yue is my least favorite character. The moment that sealed the deal for me was when she stopped Sokka on the steps - while her city was nearing a battle with the Fire Nation - and spewed out her usual "I can't see you anymore, I'm marrying someone else, it is over between us". For one, she's already done this. And second, um, wrong timing is wrong.
Character with the best hair: Katara. All that hair. I want it. (Not the hairstyle she had for her Fire Nation civvies, though. Srsly, wtf was that.)
Character with the best eyes: I think any character from the Fire Nation has pretty eyes. GOLD EYES!
Character with the best smile: Er, Suki? She's got pretty smiles.
Character I'd most want to kiss: Um, nobody? None that I can think of.
Character I'd make lunch for: Iroh can come over for lunch or dinner any time he wants. Same with Aang.
Character I'd go singing in the rain with: Ty Lee!
Character I'd go shopping with: SOKKA, FUCK YEAH. We can go to the library, too.
Character I'd go dancing with: I'm not one for dancing, but if I had to, I'd grab Aang as a dance partner. It looks like it'd be fun having him as a partner.
Character I'd take over the world with: Azula. Hell, I'll take eccentric!Azula, too. We can banish people together. (Until she banishes me, of course. Or kills me in my sleep.)
Character I most want to see more of: I've always see more of Toph. I felt like she didn't get the development nor the attention that she deserved.
Favorite pairing: Zuko/Mai. I don't think the show gave them the attention that I looked for, but I think it works better than any ship with Zuko. They're not as boring as fans think they are; they work together because of their different personalities and what they draw out of each other. Mai doesn't enable Zuko's temper or emo moments, and she calls him out on it. In turn, Zuko inspires Mai to feel passionate about anything, and she's normally an apathetic person. It just works; they grow off each other.
Least favorite pairing: I would say Zuko/Katara, but I don't mind them so much as I do the fandom following the ship. The newest one is Katara/Toph. For me, Katara is the girl Toph regards as a mother-figure, and their bickering is ridiculous. So the idea of them being together/loving each other isn't right to me. Especially when the fanworks/fanfic involve Katara realizing she loves Toph when she's about to marry Aang, and it's silly and way too cruel to Aang.

Aww, I like that they named the dog after the one from Nightmare Before Christmas. And I'm glad for you that you're slowly crawling out of your writer's block.

Actually, I think they renamed Zero. D: He decided to name him Moses instead. Personally I think "Zero" is a bit more endearing, but it's their dog and they know what name fits him. xD;

Favorite character: Rue. I find her to be very endearing, and she's the one that grows the most throughout the entire series.
Least favorite character: I'm not sure. Probably Lilie. She seems like a person you'd want to smack if you were friends with her.
Character with the best hair: Rue. I would love to have her hair.
Character with the best eyes: Fakir and his beady little eyes wins over the rest. His facial expressions crack me up, especially when he's shocked.
Character with the best smile: I have no idea. Um, Rue?
Character I'd make lunch for: Mytho! Shit, after what he has to go through, I'd treat him to lunch every day for the rest of his life.
Character I'd go singing in the rain with: Ahiru, duh.
Character I'd go shopping with: I'm picking the writer, Fakir. We can go shopping for books and materials to write stories with.
Character I'd go dancing with: Ahiru! I'd dance with her any day, because she'd help me dance purty-like when she's Princess Tutu.
Character I'd take over the world with: THE RAVEN, FUCK YEAH.
Character I most want to see more of: I've always wanted to see more of Edel. I thought she was awesome, too.
Favorite pairing: Mytho/Rue. I love them. I like the other ships available in the fandom too, but these two won me over. <3
Least favorite pairing: Fakir/Rue makes me feel very 'meh'. It's not horrible, but it isn't something I actively ship or go out my way to look for in fanworks.

Puppies are adorable. I'm more of a cat person, and kittens will always warm my heart in a way puppies can't, but puppies are so goofy.

I'll do Final Fantasy! I'll go with VII/Crisis Core/Advent Children canon for now. (It is the best icon ever. Yes.)

Favorite character: Tifa. I have to admit, as much as I try to love everybody equally, I play favorites with her all the time.
Least favorite character: The two brothers that weren't Kadaj in Advent Children. I mean, they were all batshit, but Kadaj had his own special brand of crazy and stood apart in the group. The other two lacked personality, especially Yazoo.
Character with the best hair: This is hard, because everybody has such awesome hair that I'd love to steal, but Sephiroth's hair is fabulous. I want to know what shampoo and conditioner he uses.
Character with the best eyes: Vincent's got bitching red eyes. You can't beat red eyes! You shouldn't even try to beat those.
Character with the best smile: It's a tie between Zack and Aerith.
Character I'd make lunch for: Zack can come over for lunch any day. :|
Character I'd go singing in the rain with: Yuffie!
Character I'd go shopping with: Aerith, hands down. She would be fun to tag along with.
Character I'd go dancing with: I have a feeling I'd be forced to dance with Cloud because both of us would sit by awkwardly with nothing to do. Then we'd feel even more awkward after the dancing.
Character I'd take over the world with: Rufus!
Character I most want to see more of: I grew very attached to Red XIII recently. I always want to see more of him. Him and Barret both deserve some love.
Favorite pairing: If I was forced to choose an absolute favorite, I'd go with Cloud/Tifa. Vincent/Yuffie comes close, but I can't not love Cloud/Tifa.
Least favorite pairing: Zack/Cloud. Personally, I can see it but I'm not crazy for it. I don't hate it, though. If there's good fanfic and fanart for it, I check it out.

Also, thanks! The writer's block had been around since ... June. It started at the beginning of June, but then my muses just completely shut off near the end of the month. I still think everything I'm writing looks like crap, but it's not so bad anymore. D:

I really, really like what you have to say about Zuko/Mai. I agree with all those points. Someday I'll have some Zuko/Mai fic up, and I hope I can do okay with pulling off that unique and fabulous relationship. ;)

I once wrote a 1sentence challenge for Zuko/Mai, but ... they were horrible. I wrote them long before Zuko/Mai was officially canon. I don't even think I ever submitted them to the community. I'd show them off now - even though they're embarrassing - but I deleted them a long time ago. D:

Cloud/Tifa, eugh. They're such best friends that I can't see them ever being anything more. But I love all of your answers, and I would *totally* go singing in the rain with Yuffie! :D Plus, lol at Sephiroth's hair-- so true.

I totally want to get a new puppy. A yorkie, actually. But a) we have too many pets, and b) we have no money. If I ever got one, it'd be a girl, I'd put a pink bow in her fur and call her Helga. >_>

With Cloud/Tifa, I always liked them nearly on the same level as Cloud/Aerith. I think it's the aspect of their friendship and what they each go through to impress or protect the other that interests me. Which is odd, because I normally don't go for the 'childhood pals' ship in any fandom. (Like in Full Metal Alchemist, I don't ship Ed/Winry. Not because I dislike the idea of them being together. It just doesn't strike a cord with me.)

You can't NOT sing with Yuffie in the rain. It's impossible to deny! And Sephiroth has some bitching hair for a psychopathic mass-murderer with an attachment to his mommy that suspiciously sounds like an Oedipus complex. Actually, him and Aerith nearly have the same bangs. That's always amused me in a sick kind of way that shouldn't amuse me. D:
