Haha, I don't hate any characters. XD I think he acts like a creep, but I don't hate him (I wanted to see him redeemed in season two, but noooo, he gets killed instead) and I don't really understand why he gets so much hate?

Jet/Katara isn't my thing, but I always thought he was the anti!Katara. Which made things interesting. XD

From what I've seen, I think Jet, Suki and Mai get the most hate in the Avatar fandom, which is a shame. I'm not crazy for Jet or Suki, but they don't deserve half the things said about them. (Especially Suki and Mai. Suki isn't useless and Mai isn't fat. Come on, fandom, work with us here.)

Love Jet, love Mai--like Suki when she's not with Sokka. But yeah, fandom is stupid. I mean, seriously, just because a character gets in the way of your fanon doesn't mean you need to hate them. I like Zutara, but that doesn't mean I'm going to starting calling Mai fat. -_-

I'm sorta ashamed to say that I find Suki to be boring. Because of the fandom and because I can't quite put my finger on what I feel is dull about her. She's had her moments, but overall she doesn't do anything for me as the other characters do. I'm so weird with characters, let me tell you. D:

I never understand why people need validation for their fanon ship that badly, so agreed. Then again, I've grown so used to having MULTIPLE OF FANON SHIPS that it hardly bothers me anymore if it isn't canon. "oh w/e, it doesn't need to be canon, they're still hot." xD;

And yeah, rabid fanon fans - especially for Zutara - need to chill out and take a breather. The ship is cool, but it doesn't need to be canon for it to be cool. Or bash other characters for it. And other things that are annoying within fandom. :\

BAH. I say we just give all the hated characters a big hug.
