10. Favorite character: It's definitely Terra.

11. What are my five favorite things about the fandom.
1. The fandom has a very diverse group of people, with their own favorite pairings. There's all sorts of possibilities.
2. The crack, in and out of the show!
3. The show has its tendencies where it's serious, but I love how, overall, it's still fun to watch instead of being depressing like most superhero shows these days.
4. The Terra arc! Ohgod, I loved that drama, it got me started on the show in the first place.
5. The character designs. Example: I like what they did with both Terra and Starfire's designs, compared to their original designs in the old days.

12. What are my five least favorite things about the fandom.
1. The way the fandom bashes the female characters that aren't Raven, such as Starfire and Terra, because it's absolutely ridiculous and wrong.
2. The ship wars. BB/Terra vs. BB/Raven, Rob/Star vs. Rob/Rae.
3. The boy slash. I just don't care for any of it.
4. The idea that if you don't like Beast Boy/Raven, there's something wrong with you or you just didn't watch the show "the right way".
5. Bashing a character that gets in the middle of your favorite ship. I can't tell you how much I hated the Robin/Raven side when they started bashing Starfire for no good reason. :\

13. Who are my five favorite characters.
1. Terra
2. Starfire
3. Cyborg
4. Lightning
5. Gizmo

14. Who are my five least favorite characters.
1. Robin
2. Kid Flash
3. Madame Rouge
4. General Immortus
5. Mento of the Doom Patrol

15. What are my five favorite pairings. OKAY, GET READY FOR SOME SERIOUS CRACK PAIRINGS.
1. Cyborg/Jinx
2. Beast Boy/Terra
3. Red Star/Starfire
4. See-More/Jinx
5. Thunder/Starfire

16. What are my five least favorite pairings.
1. Beast Boy/Raven
2. Kid Flash/Jinx
3. Speedy/Aqualad (if you ever frequented TitansGo.Net's drawing boards, YOU KNOW WHY)
4. Robin/Speedy
5. Cyborg/Bumblebee

17. Which character are you most like. I'm probably most like Starfire, but I'm a little too shy to be her, so I fluctuate between her and Raven at times.

18. What is my deep, dark fandom secret.
I really don't care that much for Raven? She's okay, but I really hated how her fans acted like she was the best character on the show, or that she was better because she was a pessimistic goth chick - like the other girls could never be as awesome as her. I just preferred Starfire and Terra over her, imo. :/

People bash Starfire? But..HOW? She's the sweetest thing to walk-er float about, this earth. I don't generally like character bashing anyways. Not saying of course no one can not hate or dislike a character. I only dislike it when they start drawing hateful art, starting anti character clubs, and writing them way out of character and the like in fics.

Which does in a round about way lead me to Raven. I certainly don't think she's the best character ever, but I do like her well enough. And I'll admit I do like the BB/Raven ship. Of course I'm mature and would never attack someone over not agreeing with me on that. after all, fandom is suppose to be diverse and fun. Not to mention the show isn't all about who loves who after all.

Speaking of pairings, the idea of Thunder/Starfire is adorable:) Crack pairings are fun.

I think haters bash Starfire for that exact reason: she's supposedly too sweet. She's nearly always called a "cheerleader" of the group, some have drawn pictures of Raven killing her because she's "annoying", or continuously accuse Starfire of being too stupid to realize that ROBIN AND RAVEN LOVE EACH OTHER. ugh. I don't even know. Nowadays I try to keep my mouth shut whenever I see Starfire hate, but it just gets on my nerves because she doesn't deserve half of it. :\

I don't mind anyone that likes the pairing, really. I just think I hate BB/Raven because of its lunatic fans and how viciously they attacked anyone with a differing opinion. And exactly! The show was wacky and fun, and tried to focus on all of the characters. The show isn't just about a single pairing becoming official.

Thunder/Starfire is so cute. [livejournal.com profile] sleepyscribbles roleplayed Thunder, and I played Starfire, and we actually got them together at an RP verse. I'll have to show you the logs sometime. She doesn't play Thunder anymore, but it was good fun while we did it. And god yes, I love crack pairings. So many opportunities than what the canon pairings can give you sometimes.

Bashing is an ugly thing. In my whole history of fandom, there are only two characters I've ever truly HATED. One deserves it as of last weeks episode. The other doesn't, but I find her annoying. I don't go around bashing the characters though. I try not to write with the second character altogether as I'm afraid I'll fall into bashing. (the two fandoms I'm mentioning by the way are " Transformers: animated *which I've heard called an Teen Titans with giant robots. Not sure I'd say that, but I can see what they mean* and "Catscratch" )

Have to love the crack pairings. Being in so many fandoms I've seen (and done) a few interesting ones, myself.

I'm the same way. There's ... a few characters I can name on my fingers that I HATE right now. (Maya from Heroes, Reira from NANA, and ... another one I can't think of at the moment.) And I'm talking about irrational hate that makes me want to punch walls every time I talk about them. Okay, not really, but I get mad. Outside of that, it takes a lot for me to grow to despise a character these days. I try to tolerate every character in a series as best as I can.

Which characters are you talking about, BTW? I don't watch Transformers: Animated but I know enough about it, and I've seen a little bit of Catscratch.

To me, I always have more fun with crack pairings. It's not that I hate the canon pairings, but sometimes I get really bored with them and want to experiment with other dynamics. Like, a long time ago, I wrote this Kyd Wykkyd/Starfire drabble. I, er, don't know if I have it anymore, but it was an interesting idea at the time. It's the multishipper in me!

For Transformers: Animated the character I hate as of now is Sentinel Prime. He pretty well told another character she shouldn't be alive because shes considered whats disgustingly disfigured to a cybertronian (she's part robot and part spider. the organic spider part is whats considered disfigured)

For Catscratch I hate Katilda. Just something about her gets on my nerves.

And nothing wrong with crack pairings at all;) Long as your having fun I say.
