A real quick question:

I've been thinking about getting a new music player, as soon as the money is saved up (because I have other things to get to in the meanwhile). I've been thinking about it for a month - I'm seriously not an impulsive person (only with books) - and, yeah, I think it's time to start looking around. The iPod that Sev gave me is magnificent and I adore it, but the 2GB isn't enough to satisfy my thirst for music. Every time I try to put more music on it, I have to take off songs I really want on my iPod. This thirst must be quenched.

I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask, though: what kind of music players do you have or recommend?

I've been thinking about getting another iPod nano, because I do love the iPod I have. It's small and easy to carry, and I love the sound on it. I'm thinking of getting the one that holds 8GB. I'll admit, I want one because it comes in awesome colors. I know there's the iPod touch, but I don't want it, because touch screens annoy me; I'd constantly wipe the thing to get my finger prints off of it.

Oh, and here, have a meme if you're interested. I've been in a writer's block for awhile, and I haven't dabbled in fanfic for awhile, so beware if you aim for specific fandoms. Please don't try for sex scenes, though. I'm horrible at them. D: (If you want to do original or RPG characters, that's fine too!)

Everything you've said about the iPod is basically why I want one another one begin with. The iPod that my best friend sleepyscribbles gave me is a little older than the nanos in the market now, but it's been a year and it still works, which is a great sign for me. Normally my mp3 players break easily due to my overly using them, but this one's still working as though I'd gotten it yesterday. I only want another one because 8GB is very tempting. I also love the size and the colors available for the iPod, and I love the sound on it.

The only complaint I have about the iPod is how quickly the battery runs out. Then again, I constantly press the buttons to rewind and fast forward so that's my fault, not the player. Besides, I got used to it. Recharging them is very easy to do, thank God. XD;

I was thinking about a Zune, but the biggest complaint I've heard about it concerns the sound on it, and I'm very picky with that. My brother owns a Creative Zen, which sounds great but I don't really like how they look.
