I fucking love Maka/Crona and ship them more than Soul/Maka. I like Soul/Maka, but Maka/Crona gives me warm fuzzies that Soul/Maka doesn't.

I AM SO CONFUSED OVER WHAT TO CALL CRONA. Personally I keep thinking Crona is a boy with some fabulous hips but chapter 60 of Soul Eater and that naked picture of Crona. I just. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE A BOY OR A GIRL, CRONA.

I have seen a grand total of zero episodes of Soul Eater and read about six chapters. I should probably get in on that. Death the Kidd is my favorite from what I do know about.

I've just been calling Crona Crona. Pronouns are not my friend when dealing with Crona.

Well, the best way to get started on those episodes is here! (http://souleaterhd.com/) The FUNIMATION website has some episodes up with proper subs, but the loading is a little annoying. Besides, the above website has all of them.

I go s/he and her/him whenever I talk about Crona. Or I automatically start calling Crona a 'him'. idk, I like the idea that Crona could be a boy, but I keep thinking of Maka/Crona as a lesbian pairing. >_>

...Oh my. How convenient. And it's streaming, you say? I guess I know where I'll be spending the next few days. Funi is doing a good job with these things -- they're pretty speedy with FMA: Brotherhood -- but I still do the illegal stuff, 'cause that's how I roll.

I don't think I ever got to Crona's introduction proper. Most of my experience with the series is via RP. Daisychain had a decent-sized cast for a while, and Fran Madaraki and Stein are like BFFs.

It's very convenient. I downloaded episodes 1-28 from shibusen, then gemkazoni linked me to this website to watch the rest. I'm surprised Funi subbed those episodes as quickly as they did, though. I think they have ... episode 12 or 13 up? I can't remember.

LMAO. Stein and Fran is the best crossover friendship ever. Did they experiment on anybody together yet?

Crona's introduction is fun, but I knew I'd love that character as soon as I saw the opening so it's no surprise. That, and things plot-wise get very interesting from then on.

This is so late but, my wish for Crona is to either be androgynous and not claim any gender, or that Crona is a transgender female, so I go with she if I am told to pick, and if it can't be either of those then transgender male. I basically don't want Crona to be cisgendered basically.

I'm going to shamefully admit that I've never come across the term "cisgendered" before. That one's new to me. D: I had to look it up, but I think I understand it now. It's the opposite of transgender, meaning your gender identity and your sex are aligned with one another, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I never thought about recognizing Crona as transgendered, but it really makes sense for Crona's character. I think I'd prefer transgender male, if the exact gender was never revealed and fans were left to make a personal choice. I'd feel a lot better calling Crona a he, for some reason.

... That makes me think, have there been transgender characters in anime/manga before? I'm really curious about that now.
