It just hit me that today is 9/11. I feel like a horrible American for forgetting about the anniversary; it hasn't even been ten years yet.

I don't know, I guess I try to put it out of my mind as much as possible. I still remember what I was doing, what was going on, and who I was with right before we discovered what happened to the Twin Towers. Other than that, I don't like thinking about it, because I remember how scared (I've never been on a plane and I doubt I ever will get on one) and angry I was, and I hate going back to that place, and I hate thinking about how much that moment changed me. :\

Well, anyway, here's the continuation of this meme before I go to bed.

First, the site. Um, I'll just lead you to Cute Overload, which is ... just as the title says it is. Cute Overload, with pictures of cats, dogs, ferrets, baby pigs, meerkats, and any other cute little creatures. If you're a sucker for animals like I am, check this out.

The YouTube clip ... well, I'm a little peeved with YouTube (I finally decided to remove all of my videos from that site; YouTube removed too many of my videos because of "copyright infringement"), but I do have a clip to share. It's from the Legally Blonde musical shut up, I liked the movie, with the song "Gay or European?", which always makes me giggle whenever I watch it.

To be honest, I forgot too. Until I see the journals reminding about that horrible day, though. I understand not wanting to think back on it. Long as you never forget what happened. They say "Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it.".

That seriousness aside, Cute Overload is such a great site. :)

Oh, I never forget about it. I'm always cautious whenever I go downtown because I'm afraid something will happen to the Sears/Willis Tower, or the John Hancock, or any skyscraper. That and I avoid airplanes. :/ But I still feel bad that I forgot that it was today.

Cute Overload is a nice website. I figured if anyone's having a shitty day - especially today - that this would be a good pick-me-up.

I forgot too. Then when I saw the date, I was like, "Oh. It's Angel's birthday. And that bad thing that happened." Then I went on to change a diaper.
