IT'S SO HARD. I'm tempted to go with Barret, but THEY DON'T HAVE THE STAGE PRODUCTION FOR BARRET AND CLOUD. My dreams of princess Barret is ruined forever.

That's what I did when I got the game for my PSP. Aerith won, of course. XD; Their date is cute, though. I also like Cloud's date with Yuffie. SHE KISSES HIM. That will never not be adorable.

I always think: "This time I'll choose Barret (or Tifa actually), because I have never dated him(/her)!"

And then I end up getting all flustered because BEING MEAN TO AERITH IS HARD, OKAY? I managed to be mean one time to get the Yuffie date (because it's YUFFIE and SHE IS MY FAVORITE) and since then I just CANNOT DO IT. Especially since I abuse the hell out of Aerith on Disc 1, she is almost always in my party because HEALING WIND!

The Yuffie date is freakin' awesome. I love that she kisses him and how he is SO her first crush, but soon after Aerith dies she probably realizes he is FUCKED UP IN THE HEAD and gets over it real fast, except that she still thinks he can be kind of cute now and then when he isn't totally nutters.

I've been aiming to get Barret. I already know what happens on the date, but I just want to get Barret to go on a date with my Cloud, just so I can say it happened and experience it first-hand. And I enjoy making Barret and Cloud uncomfortable.

I barely ever use Aerith in my game -- only because it takes FOREVER for me to build up my characters and it took me awhile to STOP DYING CONSTANTLY -- but I agree, I hate being mean to her. It's Aerith. The same Aerith who is going to get stabbed in the gut at the end of disc 1. Plus, she is a big sweetheart, sells flowers enjoys dressing men in women's clothing. How can anyone not want to go on a date with her.

LOL. Randomly, what you said about Cloud/Yuffie reminded me of a line from But That's Another Country (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2360415/1/But_That_Was_In_Another_Country) (I still anxious wait for an update), when she suggests he's bugfucked or something along those lines, and he needs to wear adult diapers soon. Because that sums up Yuffie's possible feelings RIGHT THERE.
