Oh, dear. Look at what LJ just cooked up.

I thought people got paid accounts to avoid ads, not purposely set up ads on their blogs, but ... whatever. At least it's an opt-in. If I had to look at them with my paid account, no choice in the matter, then I would've been pissed.

I would probably not be uber-pissed if they ever did make ads mandatory. I think it'd be a stupid move on their part, but I, personally, do not really care that much.

I would only be pissed because I hate the way ads screw up the customization. I just don't like the look of them. But I have Adblock Plus for Firefox, so while it'd be annoying, it's easy to fix.

Oh, I know. It's kinda like "Let's go to dreamwidth because LJ is dying" all over again.
