OTP for them: I'll have to say Lightning with sleepyscribbles' Ophelia, because they've been together forever and it's hard to beat an old favorite.

I agree about some of those OC's. Don't mind the well developed ones with personality (heck, I kind of pair Saki with Lightning, so yeah. Of course, in my eyes she's not a sue. Don't know if thats true through others eyes though.). But a lot of them are just... there. And thats it.

You totally know Lightning is secretly a pro at video games; he just doesn't flaunt it because (a) video games don't really interest him because they're too easy for him, and (b) he prefers outdoor activities and being active on his feet. He'd probably get annoyed with BB often for being such a video game addict and BB would get annoyed that Lightning wants to GO OUT AND DO STUFF every fucking day.

I don't mind OCs when they're developed. Hell, even those that are seen as Sues, I don't mind as much if they're at least not annoying about it. XD But if they're cardboard personalities and such ... then what's the point? (Also, a lot of artists draw Lightning and Thunder as white guys when they're actually Vietnamese characters. That's just stupid. :|)

OTP for them: Vincent/Yuffie. I just adore them. I adored them since I read this awesome story on FF.Net. Also, I have speculations that it actually is canon in the creators' minds, or at least she has some sort of a crush on him after she gets over Cloud, but that's for another day when I'm not tired.
Runner-up pairing: Outside of Yuffie, I don't really ship Vincent with anyone. Um, Vincent/Cid? They have so much subtext, it's not even a joke.

Crack pairing(s): Again, none that I can think of.
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: Well, Vincent/Lucrecia isn't really popular, but it's still shipped and I don't really understand why. Lucrecia isn't a bad chick, I feel bad for her, but she isn't available emotionally or physically for Vincent. It's completely not fair to him for constantly pine after a woman who can't deal with her own regrets, especially when she brought it onto herself and he keeps feeling that her mistakes are his fault. :/ I don't know, I can't ever see them getting together in canon and being happy without the guilt following them... and she's technically dead anyway.

Oh, and people ship Vincent/Tifa, which I don't really understand and I'm going to need some convincing that it'd actually work.

Runner-up pairing: Um ... none, really. I tried, but I can't think of anyone else. xD; I like Sora! But I only ship him with Riku and Kairi. I basically play Kingdom Hearts for the Disney characters and the main trio.

Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: Sora/Ariel. But that's because Ariel is my least favorite Disney princess, and I think the two of them together would be a little boring.

OTP for them: They weren't originally my OTP in the first anime, but I adore Edward/Winry right now.
Runner-up pairing: Um, I don't think I have any other Edward ships that come close to the OTP. I also enjoy Edward/Roy for the love/hate factor, but I like Roy with Riza too much to break those two up.
Honorable mention(s): Um, Edward/Ling cracks me up. And I've seen people ship Edward/Riza, so I wouldn't mind seeing fic/pics for that.
Crack pairing(s): I am ashamed to say Edward/Alphonse, because I CANNOT STAND INCEST SHIPS AT ALL -- I have four siblings and I don't understand people who like nothing but incest ships -- but apparently this is my exception? It's also one of my few squick ships.
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: Edward/Rose. Rose's a little too naive for Edward and Edward's a little too blunt for her. I can see them being friends, but they could never be romantic together. :/

Oh I am watching the first series right now, and I mourn for the loss of the utter OTPness of Ed/Winry that is in the manga. But I mourn for the anime's treatment of Winry in general.

Oh my gosh, I have heard about the whole thing with Rose in the anime and I am not looking forward to it, I will most likely agree with you once I finish the series.

I adore her so much more in the manga because I got to see her more often. (I don't understand why a lot of fans don't like her. Then again, most of those haters are slash fans, which explains everything ever.) Although I do miss her friendship with the bookworm lady, whose name I can't remember right now, in the manga. But that's okay, because Izumi and Olivia make up for it.

Edward/Rose totally isn't my ship, even in the first anime series in which they have more scenes together. I can see why people ship it, but I just think they'd aggravate each other too much. Rose acts on her emotions which ultimately affects her logic, whereas Edward ... while he's got his own issues, he's not going to believe or do something stupid without thinking about it first. They don't mesh well together, imo. :\

Crack pairing(s): Professor Stein/Maka. I would be ashamed of myself, but Edward Elric got shipped with his brother above this comment, so it could've been worst.
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: Um, I guess Maka/Tsubaki. For no real reason. It just doesn't hit any of my I SHIP THIS buttons and it sounds a little dull to me.
