So, have a fandom meme!

The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it: Bleach. It turned out to be such a disappointment. It kills me because it wasn't always a horrible series. It started out with so much promise--interesting characters and premise, helping spirits move onto the afterlife, Ichigo was actually sympathetic, when people died they just stayed dead, et cetera--and then it just went downhill with the Rescue Arc. To me it just seems like the artist either ran out of ideas or he fired his editor, because the problems are fixable!

The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a nostalgic romp in the sheets: Oh, Sailor Moon, you can have nostalgic romps with me anytime. Wait, what.

The mysterious dark gothy one with whom you used to sit up talking until 3 A.M. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized he was really fucking crazy: LOL, Invader ZIM. Seriously.

The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd really still like to fuck again although you're relieved he doesn't actually live in town: I ... have no idea. Nana, maybe? It's been on hiatus for forever, so my love for it has quieted down for awhile. It was getting repetitive for awhile, too, so I hope if the artist does recover from her illness and she's still interested in the story, that she takes it in a different direction or settles everything.

The steady: It's a tie between Disney and Final Fantasy VII. Both of which had been hanging around in my noggin for half of my life. 8D;

The ex: Avatar: The Last Airbender and Teen Titans. I still love both fandoms, but I've pretty much moved onto other fandoms since then. (Yes, yes, the fandom isn't dead and there's a live-action movie coming out for Avatar. Whatever. Race!fail or not, it's going to be a dumb movie and ruin everything great about the show. Nobody's going to convince me otherwise. :\)

The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with: Claymore, because I do like the aspect of an ass-kicking lady who's half human and half monster, but the artwork kind of annoys me for some reason? It's something with their faces I don't like. And yes, I'm shallow and annoying art will stop me from reading anything. D: I'LL READ THE SERIES, EVENTUALLY.

The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't: I can't really think of any for this one, either.

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool guy except it's never really gone anywhere: Hellsing.

The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at him and thinking, "Him? How the hell did he land all these cool babes?": Uh, I have no idea. I guess World of Warcraft? I understand why it can be a fun game and I get a few of the inside jokes, but eh, I usually get bored with online games very quickly.

The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly: I can't think of any! Although I do know someone who still watches Family Guy and insists it's still funny. I caught, like, five seconds of an episode recently and it made no goddamn sense and it was offensive. Not funny!offensive, either, just plain offensive.

Re: Claymore, start at Chapter 12, skip the first 11 chapters you can always go back to them, that is when the story starts getting really awesome. (I personally adore the art, I mean I find it a lot more tolerable then say Soul Eater's art, oh Ohkubo could you please learn to draw hands)

I'll give Claymore another try. IDK what I don't like about the art. I think the bodies and outfits and such are great, but I keep staring at their faces and thinking SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THEM BUT WHAT? xD; It was the same thing with Hetalia. (That and I'm not interested in reading about this huge cast of guys with slash fanservice, and I've seen better versions of 'Countries Around The World Interact With Each Other' gag. :/)

Admittedly, I think Soul Eater's art is pretty terrible at times, too. I loved the style in the anime--when it was more polished and such--but it's sloppy in the manga, and all the characters seem to look exactly alike at times. (And what is Ohkubo's deal with hands? He hates drawing them!) If I didn't watch the anime first, I don't think I would've been able to get into Soul Eater at all.
