The only thing I can recall from my earliest member is the Oklahoma City bombing. I remember that because I saw the victims on television. Some of them were small children, just like me, and I think that's why it stayed in my head for awhile.
And around that time, my second grade teacher (in Catholic school) told me that Jesus was going to end the world, and I was going through a strange crisis over whether or not my existence mattered. (I was seven/eight. Not a fun thing to go through at that age, let me tell you.) So...seeing something that horrific for the first time may have unconsciously affected my view on the world.

Outside of that, I'm debating whether or not I should buy a Nintendo DSi. They're on sale at Target for $155, and my sister said they can play both DS games and some games from the Gameboy Advance system. We have a regular Nintendo DS, but it belongs to my little sister, and the touch screen is starting to act up.
