So. Chapter twelve.

(1) Did Yaag Rosch just randomly turn into a badass? Because his death scene was pretty badass, even if he is a dull antagonist in the Final Fantasy series. And I actually felt a little sorry for him.

(2) Aww, Vanille felt bad about Rosch. Aww, Sazh grabbed her shoulder to tell her to come on with them and leave him behind. That little detail is why I still like the game despite its errors: the teammates really do care about each other.

(3) Oh my God, you guys. Chapter thirteen. Oh my God, you guys. WISH ME LUCK.

(4) I'm going to shit my pants if I have to fight Cid Raines again, by the way. I don't trust that bullet to the head at all. He's totally alive. CAN'T YOU SEE HE'S GOING TO KICK MY BUTT?!

(5) So. Someone has to become Ragnarok, right? I mean, it's an impending knowledge. It's bound to happen, because they've been talking about it since the beginning of the game. I nominate Lightning! Or Fang and Vanille. Please surprise me, game!

(5) To be honest, I'm going to be a little sad if somebody becomes a C'ieth. I want everyone to live! So. *Crosses fingers for a happy ending.*

Edit: Ugh. All of these pointless battles and mazes. I don't want them anymore. I WANT TO BEAT THE GAME ALREADY, CHAPTER THIRTEEN.

Rosch turned from loser to half-badass, but I don't think he made the complete transition. I haven't played FF12, but I think they might have been trying to channel that with him, such that he knows what he's doing isn't right, but it's what the people want to hear. All political and stuff.

Later on in chapter 13 you're going to enter a huge vertical room with a PSICOM Elite and each of the mini-bosses you've had to fight so far. It's very possible to sneak by them without Deceptisol, and in fact I seriously recommend it. The CP isn't that important.

Have fun with what's to come. :3

The villains in this entire game are all throwaway characters, so I'm surprised Rosch got as far into "badass" territory as he did. I really wish they did something with these antagonists other than having them react to the plot. Bart's a cool, angry old guy, but I'm so used to great, classic antagonists who are multidimensional and actually develop or get more screen time than the ones in this game did.

I have FF12 but I haven't gotten around to playing it, so I have no idea what the antagonists in the game are like. I'll let you know if I ever get around to tackling it. The battle system reminded me too much of Final Fantasy XI so I lost interest quickly. To me, what they were trying to do with Rosch was somewhat similar to what they did with one of the reoccurring antagonists in FF9.

LOL. That's exactly what I did. I had a shitload of Deceptisol from when Sazh fixed Vanille's robot, so I took advantage of what I had. I hope I didn't need that CP. I shouldn't, since I've maxed out my main roles and I'm very well into the three my characters didn't need at this point.

Thanks! I'll have fun IF I DON'T DIE AHHHH.
