samatethecookieOhhhhkay. So I decided to tune into the season finale of Community, and wow.
Hahahaha yes, sure, you can totally screw over one of my favorite characters on the show and completely tear her apart just to get one ship to happen. UGH, NO, FUCK YOU, SHOW. Seriously. What was that? I'm not even commenting on the ship itself--although I really hope Jeff/Annie isn't endgame for reasons I won't even begin to name since it'd take too long--but just the fact that they had that stupid "two women are fighting over Jeff" plot alone really left a bad taste in my mouth.
So much for not trying to care about what actually happens with the ships in this show. HOORAY FOR BREAKING THE CYCLE OF ONLY CARING ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE ANIMATED.
Other than the silly UGH WHAT IS THIS SHIP I DO NOT LIKE IT rage that is nowhere near my general dislike over what they did to Britta in this episode, I liked the rest of the episode. Especially the giant cookie, because I wish I can eat a giant cookie like that.
Then I looked up the official English dub clips of Clannad, and I'm forever grossed out by the fact that Sunohara sounds like Naruto's distant cousin. (Don't believe me? Listen to this.) I suppose it's appropriate for his character, but it's really painful to sit through. Everyone else is cool, though.
Why am I still awake.
