samatethecookieI forgot to post the prompt for that music meme ... yesterday, technically, so I'm going to place that and today's prompt within this entry.
Day 10 - A Song That No One Would Expect You To Love
This song is the one that made it in this prompt because if anyone knows my taste in music, you'd know that I normally don't listen to Rihanna's music. It's not that I don't like her, because she seems to be a nice person otherwise, but it's just that I can't get past how annoying her song "Umbrella" was at the time it came out. And I don't know what it is about her voice in that song that just put me off from the song, but it just. UGH. Do not want.
So of course I was surprised to listen to this song and find myself enjoying it. I'm still not the biggest fan of Rihanna as a singer, but I do love this song. Oh and the music video is neat, too, if you want to admire how pretty she is.
