I can't even explain to you how sick I am with fucking celebrities getting away with crimes and everyone knows they shouldn't get away with them but there's always some fucking loopholes ordinary citizens aren't allowed to abuse. It's not just Polanski--hell, I can rant forever about Lindsay Lohan and how pissed I am they waited so long to finally bring her to trial--but he's the most offensive of them all, in my opinion. They didn't have enough documents to extradite him? My ass they didn't. He raped the girl a long time ago and he was nearly sentenced for it before he ran away! Yes, authorities shouldn't have waited too long to bring him to justice, but so what? If it were anyone else other than Polanski, he would've been here in America facing trial by now. He shouldn't be any different but for some twisted reason (he's a great artist! it's been sooooo long, let it go! the girl was asking for it!), he is.

I'm so sorry for dumping my word vomit on you, but it just. I can't even deal with this without slipping into a rage, and PMS isn't helping me.
