Dreamwidth Invite Codes

Randomly, I just received an invite code distribution from Dreamwidth today. I've got about seven of them; it might just be six, though, because I'm debating on using one for myself to back up my writing journals.

If anyone's interested in checking out Dreamwidth for whatever reason--for RP, to backup files, or because you think the website seems cool--let me know here! I'll PM you a code. I really need to get rid of these. xD; If not, I'll find something to do with them. I could always back up the RPG accounts I used to play with. Hmmm.

hmm, maybe. Can you tell me just what would be different if I shared stuff on Dreamwidth too then on livejournal? Just curious.

From my personal experience with Dreamwidth, I have no idea. I'm still not really sure what the difference is between Dreamwidth and Livejournal! There's a smaller crowd on Dreamwidth and I guess the fandoms are a little more close-knit than they are on Livejournal. Then again, I haven't really played around with Dreamwidth.

I think if you wanted to share anything on Dreamwidth, it could work all right. It's also a great site to import your content from your LJ account to your Dreamwidth account. I use mine as backup in case LJ ever tanked, although I honestly doubt that's going to happen.

I also got some DW invite codes, but I'm not to sure what I'll do with them. I'm never on DW myself. It's just there in case LJ messes up or something.

You could always give them back if nobody grabs them? I've only been able to get rid of one, and I'm hanging onto another just in case I want to back up my journal (since, like you said, I'm not on DW much either unless I need to import my content), but the other five are going to be donated if nobody claims them.
