(Although looking at the time of posting, your entry wasn't belated at all! -Our official Independence Day started at Midnight, but we celebrate on the night of the 15th and the morning of the 16th)

Ooh, cool! I was afraid I was going to be belated on the message until I read your journal and saw the celebration would continue for a few days.

We celebrated it at the ballpark with a parade around the concourse and fireworks after the game was over. There were other things, but I was outside the entire time and I missed most of it.
