Writer's Block: Neat, sweet, groovy songs

...Celine Dion.

I don't know why. When I was seven, I heard her song "It's All Coming Back To Me" at a friend's house because her older sister was watching the music video, and that sparked my curiosity. I thought the video and the song were cool, but I had no idea who she was until a few weeks later. As soon as I realized who it was and that she had other songs, I became obsessed with her. Anything that was on television that featured her, I had to watch it. I had to own all of her CDs, and the ones I didn't, I *~borrowed~* them from my brother's friend Phil. I constantly played the songs in my grandmother's bar whenever I had to go for a family gathering/party, much to the displeasure of everyone in my company. I loved her music because they were all sappy love songs and I just happen to associate sappy love songs with my characters and their romances.

I really adored her. I still love her, even though some of her recent albums don't hit me as much as her older stuff still manages to do. And no, I don't care what anyone else thinks about my taste in music, because SHUT UP, I love wonderful taste in music.

<3 She is pretty awesome. I love her older stuff better, though. Her new stuff isn't horrible, but it's nowhere near as good as the albums she used to put out.

Celine Dion! ♥ When it comes to singers, I'm not a huge fan of any in particular, so I never have too many songs from any one, but I do adore everything of hers I've ever heard.

Celine Dion is pretty fabulous. ♥ I can't comprehend why anyone would hate her.

I think the only singers I've been fannish about are her, Imogen Heap, and Regina Spektor. At least, those are the only three that come to mind. My music preferences are scattered all over the place.

FEAR NOT, FOR I TOO AM A FAN OF CELINE DION. EXCEPT FOR 'THAT'S THE WAY IT IS,' BECAUSE MY SISTER AND HER FRIEND PLAYED IT LIKE FIVE TIMES EVERY DAY AND SANG OFF-KEY TO IT FOR THEIR SCHOOL TALENT SHOW WHEN THEY WERE LIKE ELEVEN, I CURL INTO THE FETAL POSITION LISTENING TO IT NOW. Also, lol @ your sister. That's what mine did to me with My Chemical Romance, Panic At The Disco and Fall Out Boy. I can never listen to their songs again because SHE ALWAYS PLAYS THEIR ALBUMS. AND SINGS ALONG. LOUDLY. ALWAYS.
