Still sick and fairly crabby, even with Panera Bread in my tummy, so I stole this meme from two awesome people on my flist.

Name a fandom and I'll give you 3 unpopular opinions.

An entire list of my fandoms can be found HERE. Ask for any of them. Even if I can't think of three, I'll try and come up with one, at least.

Other than that, I've been obsessed with Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. My character married the doctor and I finally upgraded my house to a two-story. Oh and she's due to have a baby after season Spring is over. D-Don't judge how excited I am about this.

Also, I've gotten around to watching the first season of Big Bang Theory, and now that I know what the show's about and the characters, I no longer care about it because it pretty much has the dumbest shipping war ever.

EDIT: For the meme, we've got Sailor Moon, Teen Titans, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Final Fantasy X, and Soul Eater. Feel free to ask for any other fandom!

Oh man, I haven't explored FFX fandom in awhile (and I still need to beat the game, s-sob), but here we go! I'll give some of my opinions on it.

1. Seymour is gross and extremely unlikable. I don't understand why anyone would love him, even as a villain. Even his voice makes me feel unclean and violated. (Actually, I think Final Fantasy is lacking awesome villains in general lately. I know it's impossible to top villains like Sephiroth and Kefka, but they barely put any effort into them anymore.)

2. I'm not sure if I liked having Jecht as the villain in Dissidia, considering who he really was in FFX. I liked the scenes between him and Tidus, but it felt weird having Jecht as the main villain. IDK. I think it's just me and I think I just have to beat the game first. D:

3. I don't like Wakka/Lulu. Mostly because Lulu dated Wakka's brother before he died, but I also don't think they go well together. (Then again, I'm not a huge fan of goofy guy/moody girl ships, so this is just my bias talking.)

Ee, I agree with you, yay! Seymour is slimy, and I totally called him out as a villian the moment he walked on the screen. And Wakka/Lulu just came out of nowhere, I think. They make for good friends, but I think Lulu looks down on Wakka too much to make it a nice relationship.

As for Jecht, I suppose they did that because he's the final boss, and you never really see what the real villian looks like, really.

Seymour is such a creep. Everything about him just put me off from the very beginning. Also, as an added bonus, I'll never understand anyone that genuinely ships Seymour/Yuna. Like...did they watch the wedding with their asses instead of their eyes?

I agree with you about Wakka/Lulu. They're friends, but...yeah, they just don't have any sort of chemistry between the two. Or at least nothing that's really satisfying.

Ooh, okay. See, I didn't get to the end of the game yet. It still struck me as odd, but then again, that isn't my biggest complain about Dissidia. (One of them being, the creators saying if they make another Dissidia game and include FFXIII, they'd like to go with Sazh over Lightning, even though Lightning is their main character. ahkjakhjha. I like Sazh but oh hell no.)

I agree with the Seymour/Yuna too. I mean, usually I love villian/heroine ships, but that one...just does not work for me.

What? I mean, I don't know the characters, but if Lightning is the main character, then she should be the one in it, plain and simple. (Speaking of which, I actually haven't played Dissidia. I don't have a PSP [that's what it's for, isn't it?])

It really doesn't, and I love villain/heroine ships, too! I disapprove of it because it involves Yuna suffering on some level or another, or the fans get off the struggle the two of them would have to go through to remain together. Come on, the girl's been through enough her whole life. Does she really need Seymour as a partner?

Dissidia is pretty fun, and yep, it's for the PSP. I've beaten Cloud's part way too many times to keep count, and Tidus is close second. But ... yeah, most of the cast is made up of guys, since most of the main protagonists have been male characters. I forget where I read it, but the creators nearly excluded FFVI's Terra from the line-up because they wanted the male protagonist Locke instead. So ... yeah, I'm not sure what that says about them, but it's a little weird they'd be hesitant to add in a female character even though she's obviously the main protagonist. :\
