A post on my flist got me thinking.

Does anyone have any anime/manga recommendations?

It's been awhile since I've gotten into a series or a new fandom. Like, I tried to go back and read past manga that I've looked at before, but I can't get into like. Like Negima!, for instance. Too many panty shots and too many "innocent boy gets smacked by overreacting naughty girls" cliches that bother me. Anything like that, if it's every other page, I'm not interested.

Help a girl out, people. Please? D:

I can not stress this anime enough... Princess Tutu.

It sounds silly, I know. But it's awesome. It has this almost fairy tale like quality to it.

I saw the first episode of Princess Tutu a few years ago. I thought it was cute, but I could never catch the episodes on the Anime Network over here. :/ I'll go digging for those episodes.
