See-More/Terra. Comedy option Star/Terra. Horrible option Lightning/Thirst.

We all know how See-More and Terra got together. If they were to do it again in the future ... it would be when they're comfortable with themselves, but also lonely and wanting some company. It would start off as them being buddies, and their hook-up would just happen naturally. Their relationship would have its ups and downs, where they question whether they're more like friends than boyfriend and girlfriend, but they get over their hurtles. I can see them as the type who would get married and all that, but they'd never have kids. Or at least, not for awhile. They'd travel together. If they do have a kid, it would be one, and they would give it a name with an endless list of possible nicknames involving rocks or eye puns.

Starfire/Terra happen because we deem it so. That, and Thunder disappears and Terra just hates men right after the scenario with Beast Boy. They hook up because of a Nexus LOL. When they get married, their wedding cake is that of the Tamaranean tradition, where its filling is lots and lots of glorg. They're the only ones who eat their wedding cake, of course. I'd say they never have kids, BUT THIS IS THE NEXUS, and they're allowed to have their Mary Sue of a daughter, who has Starfire's skin pigment and Terra's blonde hair, and she can shoot lasers out of her eyes AND beat people with rocks. Their life is very, very awesome.

Thirst escapes from her prison in the sea, because she's the goddamn homunculus. She tracks down Lightning in a fit of rage to get her revenge, but discovers that every time she attempts to stab him, she gets electroshocked. She gets confused and wonders if she's doing it wrong, then Lightning gets angsty and goes on about how destructive he is. They both bond over this, and Thirst gets an .. unhealthy obsession for him. Then Ophelia conveniently gets killed by Thirst disappears after leaving Lightning a suspicious Dear John letter, Lightning and Thirst get into a complicated love/hate relationship - which mostly involves hate, since they curse at each other 24/7, but at least they find all tons of fun things to do together. They never get married, because, well, they just can't. Lightning gets involved in the search for Thirst's true identity and her memories, which ... doesn't end well. Thirst outlives him. He dies. She - may or may not have anything to do with it, but she mourns him in her own way, and dumps his body in the damn sea she got stuck in by his stupid girlfriend.

IT'S A VERY TRAGIC LOVE.
